The press head is a key component of the oil press and essential for an efficient and controlled pressing process. In conjunction with the press spindle, the press cylinder and the nozzle, the press head ensures optimal compaction of the material being pressed and directly influences the quality and discharge of the pressed seeds or nuts.

What is a press head?

The press head – also known as the end piece of the press chamber – forms the end of the press chamber in an oil press. It regulates the back pressure in the system and, in conjunction with the nozzle, is therefore crucial for the pressing pressure exerted on the seeds. The press head is made from very high-quality hardened stainless steel. Wear is particularly low here.
